Tumen Gr
Type Locality and Naming
North-central Shandong. The Tumen Gr was named by Wang Liangchen (1959), which was introduced by Beijing Geological College and Bureau of the Shandong Geology (1961). The type section is located in Fulaishan Hill of the Juxian County, Shandong Province.
Synonym: (土门群)
Lithology and Thickness
The Tumen Gr consists mainly of cyclic deposition of sandstone, shale and limestone with stromatolites, microplants and macrofossils of algae. The Tumen Gr consists of an upward succession of the Heishanguan Fm, Erqingshan Fm, Tongjiazhuang Fm, Fulaishan Fm and Shiwangzhuang Fm (see figure). It is over 600 m thick.

Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
It is unconformable with underlying Taishan Complex or metamorphosed granite pluton.
Upper contact
It is disconformably overlain by the Changqing Gr
Regional extent
North-central Shandong. It is developed in Linyi, Anqiu, Juxian area, Shandong Province.
